APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC)
The card is used with a Thai passport for short-term business travel to APEC economies that have pre-cleared you, without a separate visa for each. We check eligibility, assemble company documents and track the application. Each economy's authority decides; we do not.

- Confirm the company is a member of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries or the Thai Bankers' Association, and that the applicant meets the position or shareholding criteria
- Prepare company and personal documents listed by the JSCCIB system, such as the company affidavit, shareholder list, passport and evidence of business travel
- Create an account, complete the form and upload documents on the JSCCIB online system
- Pay the fee per the authority's notice and upload proof of payment
- Track approval by each economy and collect the card on the date notified
Frequently asked questions
Does the card replace visas in every case?
No. It covers short-term business visits to economies that approved your name on the card. For other purposes, such as tourism or work, destination immigration may refuse it.
Can I enter the United States with it?
The US is a transitional member. Thai nationals still need a normal US visa; the card only gives access to APEC lanes at some airports.
Can it be used with an official passport?
No. It must be used with the ordinary passport used to apply. If you change passport, update the details through the issuing authority.
Who can apply?
Under JSCCIB criteria, applicants must be Thai nationals aged 25 or over working for a company or limited partnership that is a member of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, FTI or Thai Bankers' Association, with conditions on company age, registered capital, position or shareholding. Criteria can change; check the latest notice before applying.
How long does it take?
Every economy must assess the applicant. Chamber guidance says an application number for tracking comes about 1–2 months after filing; actual timing depends on each country. We do not guarantee a card date.
